The company SAME (Società Accomandita Motori Endotermici) was founded in 1942 by the brothers Francesco and Eugenio Cassani in Treviglio in northern Italy. Today, SAME is part of the SDF Group, which also includes the well-known Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Hürlimann and Grégoire brands. In the mid-sixties, in July 1965, SAME presented the Same Dinosauro V8, a truly heavyweight high-performance tractor equipped with a nearly 10-liter, 160-hp V8 cylinder engine.
