Product description

"How do I pollute, ..... my own models" ...

Below we will briefly explain how you can provide your own building or standard model of a fabric look or pollution.
This indicates that little extra to a model, making it look more realistic.

The degree of contamination can be determined entirely self: a light fabric look a heavy mud pollution.

Because not everyone has an airbrush, we have had special matt paint in a series of aerosols.
2 can contaminate earth tones and various shades of green, and explain using text and photos from how to make a model with a spray, and sprinkle fine sand itself ...
We use the special fine sand spreaders which we also use in bags, but for that also lets you make several other litters ...

The offered aerosols we ourselves use to pollute our models realistic.
These colors we also sprayed on our diorama / landscapes, which makes the fabric look on a model corresponds to that of the processed country to which the state model.
(More about that in the tip: "How do I ...... landscape / diorama color" (found later on the site, as well as "How do I defile .... Dung look"))

You will discover for themselves how much fun contaminating, when you're there once got the hang of it, and so you create a unique model for you collection.
Applies here, just do it, try, fail a shot, try again, you automatically get a taste !!!

Since we use paint and litters, you can not remove the contamination.
More pollution can always, no less ..

To begin with, we therefore advise you to experiment first on a cheap little model.

start:
Get all the tires off your model.
These tires we taping on both sides, to where you definitely do not want more pollution.
Sign on wide masking tape, masking tape or sticker a circle of the desired high and cut / cut it off.
Beplak both sides of the tires with rim. ( see pictures)

Create a support where you can put all the tires of one model upright.
This can be done by two wooden slats to be bonded together, or even easier, and good buy, fold a piece of cardboard and paste them on a large board (see photos)

Put in between the tires up.

Fill a pan (or spray cap) with special finely sprinkle sand, for example, no. 80220 on this site.
Take the spray Light Brown Nature Shade Farm Series Models Extra Mat No. 92013 and the color Brunette Natural.Pink.G Series Extra Matt, no. 92014 on this site, and shake it a few minutes well.
Shaking is important, therefore the paint in the spray mixes, and will dry up later mat without a shine !!

Start with the aerosol light brown no. 92013.
Spray the paint in a thin layer right from the position on top of the tires.
Not obliquely spray on tape, because then you die even under the side of the tire.
The "haze" of the paint will naturally touch the side of the band ...

Sprinkle the wet paint the desired amount of fine sand spreaders, possibly no. 80220 of these site..Neem a small amount between finger and thumb, and sprinkle as the gangs go ...

Take the color Dark Brown and inject the desired amount of above about the tires going.
Use less paint than the first layer.
So a nice effect will arise between the two colors, and the litters. (see pictures)

Combining the two colors you will naturally go feel.
If you use a light fabric look almost no litter, and little dark brown, and for heavy dirty (mud) look more litters and more dark brown.

Tighten all tires sideways, so it has not sprayed part of the tires back up on, and repeat this procedure until the tires have been treated around.

Now let well dry out the tires.

Take your (tractor) model, and paste the model until you certainly do not want a fabric look.
Take in one hand taped model, and in the other hand the spray light brown.
Spray from different angles at half and half along the model where you want the pollution.
Think of the front wings, and behind / under the chassis and the rear fenders.
Sprinkle again, the desired amount of finely sprinkle sand on the model in the wet paint, and work it with a layer of dark brown ..
With your finger you can for example on the steps of the tractor, wet paint rubbing off, so it looks like someone has stepped into ...

Allow to dry the model ...

Meanwhile, we will clean up the lugs of the tires, if you so choose.
A model on a country cams can also sit under fabric look, the choice is yours ..

Remove any tape from the dry tires.

Take a bus Thinner or White Spirit.
Take an old sock or cloth, wrap it around your finger and hold it over the opening of the bottle thinner or turpentine.
Turn the bus even upside down, so the sock / cloth is slightly damp.
Rub with the moist part of the cams of the tires through, until the paint is removed there. (See photo result)

Mount the tire back on the model.

To create a fabric look at the rim, you can display the model from the side as a light brown / dark brown a neveltje, but paying careful attention that you do not hit all the tires.

Then remove the tape from the model, and you've made your first polluted model itself ...

To give a model a "pollution grass / maize silage pollution", you can combine the shades of green no. 92011 and no. 92012, beneath the light brown no. 92013.
You start with a very thin layer of light brown, then do not sprinkle sand, but for example finely sprinkle grass or corn silage, over which the green no. 92011/92012.

We will later tip "How do I make manure pollution" places, and a topic about landscaping, where we explain how we for example have a corn field, and colored ..

We hope to have given by an approach to get started with polluting models.

Practice makes perfect, i.i.g. fun desired,
